July is already shaping up to be a stellar month for gaming. Crysis remastered debuted its first gameplay trailer today, with a release date scheduled for 23rd July after showing up on the Microsoft store front.

The remaster seems like a more simple affair than the recent Resident Evil and Crash Bandicoot remakes, with the original game being entirely intact but with modern gaming bells and whistles, maybe even a hint of ray tracing on PC.

The original Crysis was known for melting PC’s back in the day, but did receive massively scaled back Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, the game still holds up even now but it’ll be interesting to see what developer Saber Interactive can do.
